Award winning studs

By Design Sealants Ltd have just won the Havering Business Awards for Innovation.

The award was won due to our tactile anti-slip studs.

By Designs Managing Director, Dave Bywater & Marketing manager Sue Miller attended the black tie event on Friday 1st October. Dave and Sue were both delighted to be selected as one of the final three company's in the innovation category. It came as a total surprise when By Design were  announced as winners.

Dave Bywater said that he was so pleased that the hard work over the last year had paid off and was delighted that other business people had noticed how revolutionary our products actually were. Sue added that with the official launch of Tass Ltd (A company formed to manufacture these products) and the further development of our studs (Bumpeez) this award could not have come at a better time.

This is not the first time these revolutionary studs have won an award, they were used for an architectural design at a contract within the Leeds gateway. Artist Linda Schwab used over 12'000 of our studs that were manufactured in 12 different colours. Linda won the Leeds Architectural awards earlier this year.

Dave Bywater added that the success so far has been amazing, and hopes that with our official launch at the BEST infrastructure show at the NEC on the 18th 19th & 20th October 2010 will only help to push our product fully in to the market.
