We are pleased to announce our brand new range of patented anti-slip stainless steel tactile studs, which will revolutionise the safety tactile industry.
With game changing design features and the backing of one of the world’s leading technology adhesion companies, we are proud to bring you the first tactile alert system that requires no drilling for installation.
With inserts available in any RAL colour (as well as metallic and luminous), our tactiles are fully compliant to DDA guidelines as well as being backed by a host of data sheets, test results and safety compliance sheets.
The studs can be used on any surface to include ceramic tiles, glass, wood, aluminium and even vinyl to replace existing blister paving at crossings or rail platforms, used to highlight boundaries, stairways, walkways, marina’s or used in luminous to provide guidance during power cuts.

Award winning studs
By Design Sealants Ltd have just won the Havering Business Awards for Innovation.
The award was won due to our tactile anti-slip studs.
By Designs Managing Director, Dave Bywater & Marketing manager Sue Miller attended the black tie event on Friday 1st October. Dave and Sue were both delighted to be selected as one of the final three company's in the innovation category. It came as a total surprise when By Design were announced as winners.
Dave Bywater said that he was so pleased that the hard work over the last year had paid off and was delighted that other business people had noticed how revolutionary our products actually were. Sue added that with the official launch of Tass Ltd (A company formed to manufacture these products) and the further development of our studs (Bumpeez) this award could not have come at a better time.
This is not the first time these revolutionary studs have won an award, they were used for an architectural design at a contract within the Leeds gateway. Artist Linda Schwab used over 12'000 of our studs that were manufactured in 12 different colours. Linda won the Leeds Architectural awards earlier this year.
Dave Bywater added that the success so far has been amazing, and hopes that with our official launch at the BEST infrastructure show at the NEC on the 18th 19th & 20th October 2010 will only help to push our product fully in to the market.

We can now also offer the same type of stud but without the shaft, this type of stud can be applied direct to any hard surface including wood, ceramic tiles, glass, paving slabs, concrete and even vinyl. The application process is far quicker then any drilling options meaning a lot less down time to carry out works.
With any of the applications we use the studs can be trafficked within 10 Min's.
